چکیده
This paper discusses about the design and development of a Domain-Expert Repository Management system (DERMs) that supports activities for maintaining the Domain and the Expert module of an adaptive hypermedia learning system. DERMs involves two main activities: the domain knowledge manager which assists the instructors maintain their teaching materials; and the expert knowledge manager which assists the instructors maintain the expert knowledge for three different categories of learners namely poor, average and good.

Hybrid Adaptive Educational Hypermedia Recommender Accommodating User’s Learning Style and Web Page Features
Personalized recommenders have proved to be of use as a solution to reduce the information overload problem. Especially in Adaptive Hypermedia System, a recommender is the main module that delivers suitable learning objects to learners. Recommenders suffer from the cold-start and the sparsity problems. Furthermore, obtaining learner’s preferences is cumbersome. Most studies have only focused...
متن کاملAdaptive Performance Support for Fault Diagnosis
This paper introduces a strategy, a user model, and a methodology for utilising adaptive hypermedia in performance support domain and specifically for fault diagnosis. This utilisation is implemented by employing task-specific and user-centred hypermedia which allows supporting content to be synchronized with the diagnostic expert system inference process. A stereotype user model is suggested i...
متن کاملReasoning about eLearning Multimedia Objects
The advancement of hypermedia technologies led teachers and learners to a daily use of multimedia components. Media bricks in educational content management have evolved into IEEE LOM eLearning Objects, which combine content with an expressive set of metadata and are structured by a variety of named relations. Such ”eLOs” are nicely suited for self-explorative learning within adaptive hypermedi...

The aim of AHKME is to provide students and teachers an e-learning platform with adaptive features and knowledge management facilities, where students will have quality education contents that fit their characteristics, previous knowledge and learning styles and teachers will have authoring tools to define learning methods with adaptive features along with evaluation of learning objects. AHKME ...
متن کاملSemantic Learning Model and Extended Student Model: towards an Aham-based Adaptive System
In adaptive hypermedia systems, we distinguish AHAM as the most popular reference model which is based on the Dexter model. Our work consists on building an adaptive system following this model. In this paper, we deal both with the domain and the user’s model. On one hand, the domain model called Semantic Learning Model (SLM) is described taking into account the pedagogical structure resulting ...
